Synopsis[]
Carla Giarocco sits looking down on the remains of a monster recently killed in the rubble of Seattle. She contacts Kate Corrigan and assures her that the creature is dead. A local police man walks up and starts talking to her. He asks if she thinks humanity can win. Giarocco responds that she does not know. Giarocco says that her three year old son is one of the things that keeps her fighting.
